Trakoscan in northeastern Croatia is the most preserved castle in Croatia, arguably the most beautiful one.
Surrounded by green rolling hills and a lake, it looks just as in a fairy tale. Today, it is a museum where you can glimpse where the aristocrats lived and feel the past. Trakoscan offers a natural experience as well, on a beautiful trail around the lake.
