Mali Lošinj is one of the most popular summer destinations in Croatian Adriatic, thanks to the beautiful beaches and luxury hotels and villas.
Lošinj island, the end of the string of islands from Krk and Cres, is somewhat remote, and you need some time to get there, but this effort will certainly pay off. The large bay, protected from the waves, was a perfect place to settle and found Mali Lošinj, the largest town on the island, also the largest town of all Croatian Islands.
Mali Lošinj historic centre is located on the seafront, resulting in the centuries of seafaring and shipbuilding history. Even today, the piers are full of boats, some of them highly luxurious yachts from all over the world. Smaller sailing boats can find safe harbour in an excellent marina as well.
In the summertime, the seafront is teeming with tourists, looking for a café or restaurant or just strolling and enjoying the vacation. Numerous restaurants offer quality seafood, staff inviting the guests. Everything is easy-going and relaxed here.
Numerous smaller bays encompass the town, well connected with the network of the trails. Perfect for hikers or cyclists, these paths are mainly in the shade of the dense pine forest. The fragrance and cicada concert from the pines is reaching all the beaches that abound everywhere. Most are wild and rocky. Those at the bottom of the bay are sandy or made of the pebble. All of them are offering clear sea. Some beaches are urban, next to the hotels or beautiful villas that perfectly blend with nature, invoking the feeling of aristocracy and luxury.
Mali Lošinj is for everybody to enjoy.
